Aughavannagh Cottage Holidays
Aughavannagh Cottage is an old Irish farmhouse that has been tastefully restored to a very high standard. Sleeping up to nine adults and situated in the beautiful Wicklow Mountains, the house is set in a secluded and peaceful wooded valley beside a bubbling stream. Surrounded by stunning scenery and yet only 40 miles south of Dublin, Aughavannagh Cottage is the ideal location for a perfect holiday.
Convenience This lovely house is very convenient to both Dublin Airport and the ferryports at Rosslare and Dun Laoghaire, ensuring that you can enjoy some of Europe’s most spectacular unspoilt scenery without the need for a long and tiring journey following your arrival in Ireland. Aughavannagh Cottage is also an excellent location for a range of activities including golf, hill walking, horseriding and sailing. For those for whom such pursuits are a little energetic, it’s also the perfect location for a relaxing getaway.
Scenery The surrounding area is dotted with pretty villages , historic houses and castles, craft shops and excellent restaurants and pubs. Wherever you go in Wicklow you are assured of a warm Irish welcome.
Accommodation Accomodation at Aughavannagh Cottage is designed to provide a comfortable home from home. The house is centrally heated and comprises a fully equipped kitchen with every modern convenience and a traditional sitting room with an open fire. There are five bedrooms, each with a lovely view and comprising three doubles, a twin and a single bedroom. There are also two bathrooms and utilty room with washing machine and dryer – perfect for those engaging in outdoor activities.
